Your privacy

This page tells you, in simple words, what employers can see about you. It also tells you what they can never see.

What employers can see

Your name and the city and state where you live.
Your email address and phone numbers, so they can contact you.
The languages you speak and your English level.
Your work history, education, certifications, training, and skills.
Your housing needs, and whether you have your own transportation and a driver's license, so employers can talk with you about housing and getting to work.
The kinds of work, schedules, and locations you want.
A line stating that you confirmed you are authorized to work in the United States. CrewHub Gateway does not check your documents. An employer verifies work authorization on Form I-9 after hiring.

What employers can never see

Your immigration status, your documents, or anything about how you became authorized to work. If you tell us your status, only you and the CrewHub Gateway team can see it.
The pay you would like to earn.
How you prefer to be contacted.
Whether you would like an interpreter.
Other support needs you share with us, like help with childcare or language support.
The name of the organization that referred you to us.

These answers are locked in our system. Only you and the CrewHub Gateway team can open them. Employer accounts cannot read them at all.

When employers can see your profile

Employers can see your profile when you apply to one of their vacancies, or when you turn on 'Show my profile to employers searching for workers'. Your profile must first include your name, city and state, a phone number, your main language, at least one skill or job, and your confirmation that you are authorized to work in the United States.

The worker pool

If you turn on 'Show my profile to employers searching for workers', employers who have an active vacancy on CrewHub Gateway can find your profile and see the same information listed above, including your phone and email, even if you have not applied to their job. You can turn this off at any time and your profile leaves the pool right away. If it is off, employers only see your profile when you apply to their vacancy.
